A: Each program includes a dynamic stretch, a workout portion, and a static stretch. The duration and intensity of the workouts are tailored to your individual goals and fitness level. The number of days per week will depend on the client’s needs and can range from one day a week to a full week of training.

Q: What types of fitness levels do you cater to?
A: We offer programs for all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. Each coaching selection has three tiers: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Every program is completely personalized to the individual, ensuring that no two programs are the same. The only exceptions are the pre-made plans for specific key races, with more plans being developed.

A: Online Coaching: Virtual fitness plans and modules that you can follow from anywhere.

Q: What is TrainingPeaks and how do you use it?
A: TrainingPeaks is a comprehensive platform used for planning, tracking, and analyzing your fitness training. Coach Christopher Monk uses TrainingPeaks to manage all facets of client training, ensuring personalized and effective workout plans. You can purchase direct Couch to 5k or marathon plans from TrainingPeaks or through our site if you are looking for generic plans to mold to your needs. More plans are being developed now.

A: Here are a few key terms and acronyms:

TSS (Training Stress Score): A measure of the overall training load from a workout.
CTL (Chronic Training Load): Represents your long-term training load and overall fitness.
ATL (Acute Training Load): Represents your short-term training load and fatigue.
TSB (Training Stress Balance): The balance between your fitness (CTL) and fatigue (ATL), indicating your form or readiness to perform.
FTP (Functional Threshold Power): The highest power output you can sustain for an hour.
